Leslie A. Zukor is a neurodivergent disability rights advocate, writer, mentor, public speaker, and college essay coach, based out of the Seattle area.
She has a master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and is active in the Columbia Alumni Association as the Founder and President of the Columbia Alumni with Disabilities and the Communications Chair of CAA Seattle. She also founded and served as president of the first affinity group for journalism students with disabilities at a journalism school worldwide, the Columbia Journalism School Alliance of Journalists with Disabilities.
Leslie has won numerous awards for her disability advocacy, including Columbia University's Campbell Award for leadership, spirit, and building university community and pride, the School of General Studies Honorary Owl Award for leadership and service, and the Disability Community Connection Champion Award for uniting disability groups on campus and organizing Columbia's first Disability Affinity Graduation. She also was a Heumann-Armstrong Award semi-finalist for fighting ableism in education.
Leslie provides coaching, editing, and mentoring services for students who are applying to colleges and universities.
